Rockshow (Mike) and Renoirbud (Rene) have earned the right to represent the CRR at Nationals.
Side note the comp class got smaller at the last event because we ran a beginner friendlier sport class the same day, and many wanted to give that a try (2.2 shafty with no dig))

| Rene, Congrats to you and Mike on qualifying for nats! Are both of you gonna be going to Utah? Looks like myself and Randy (swell searcher on RCC, who was wth me at ECC) will be getting invites as well, as I got first in our series and he was second.
I'm hoping that I can go but money is tight for a cross country trip. Flights are pricey. I'm waiting to see what goes down with people getting places to stay and what not. Maybe we can find a place to all stay together with some others this time. I know you were there last year, so what do you think?

| hey there
First of all thank you, and congrats right back at ya.
Yes I went last year. I drove out and stayed a Holiday Inn Express. The trip cost me $1500ish, but that was with way cheaper gas.
I am sure if we were to car pool the trip could be done much cheaper per person.
We still have one more event to go for the SUper class, so Doug will likely be getting an invite too, I am not sure if he will be in a possition to go.
Do you know the date for the Nationals yet? Are you and Randy interested in bringing MT. Bikes??? I will bring mine or rent out there. I think that the Slick Rock Trail is one of the coolest experience I have had on a bike.

| Wow, $1500. Did you rent a car? That's a 32 hour drive. You could fly out there for less than that couldn't you. I've been pricing flights and hotels. These are for two adults though, so if you were to go by yourself it would have been more.
To Grand Junction, CO, 1 1/2 hour drive to Moab. http://www.expedia.com/pub/agent.dll?qscr=cmsh&qsfr=&itid=&itdx=&itty=&ecid=&dsct=&fpri=1&aasl=1&subm=1&&cmrq=EX0167DA4062JGDC4%2440%24D5%24B25%2440%24D5%24B2000021%2190%214%24FF%248A%24C1%24C7%240C%240A%24D8%24C7%240C.%24C0%24C7%240C%24A0%24D6%24C7%240C%24E0%2480%24E9H%24E0%2480%24E9H%21903%2150%215%24FF1%2160%214%24FF0%247B300%240E0%2431%242D%2438%212%2430%242D%212%2435%2431%242D%2432%2435%2433%243440Kgmd%24240Kgmd%242C.Vyme%242C.Vojypu.Fymypf.gi.Mkpsjxm0000%24E0%2480%24E9H%24E0%2480%24E9H1100021000010003%219021%21p00000%218%24FF%21p0%21p0%21m0%24DF%2480%24E9H%21p0%21S0%214%24FF%21C01%21f0%21G%24FF10002100001%21j0%214%24FF&sort=&dest=&cdst=1&dnam=&disa=0&dcty=Richmond%2C+VA+%28RIC-Richmond+Intl.%29&fair=&aasl=1&fpri=1&nwiw=0&lsdt=&dlam=&wtfr=0&adis=GJT&CMBTX_0_rgnm=Moab%2C+Utah%2C+United+States+of+America&rdct=1

According to what Jason told me, the dates are September 5th - 8th. Friday the 5th may just be tech and setup but he does not know for sure yet.
As for MT biking, I do not own one and not sure if Randy does. I'm sure there are some really cool spots out there though. I really wish I could take my Rubicon and trail ride but that's not happening.
