| Ok guys I'm working with a local hobby shop owner to get the crawler parts established for ordering and keeping in stock. We have a list going on TLT parts. I know alot of you run Clods and other 1:6 scale rigs so what are some common parts that are used or break often. As soon as I get a list figured up I will be working with him to get this stuff and some other goodies in stock. So lets get to work. | |

| The list of parts is almost endless. A hobby shop will go out of business if they try to stock it all. I have been there so I know the hoby shop side of it. Here is a few comon things I would recomend.
Most guys running clods and txt's don't run clod or txt wheels. So various sized wheel adaptors and wideners would be nice. RC4wd has a nice selection. Anything that adapts a 12mm hex to a 14mm, 17mm, or 23mm hex.
Moabs in 40 series, mashers in both 40 series and maxx sized.
Lathe motors. 45t, 55t, and 65t
Crawler bodies
4" maxx sized aluminum shocks. The Integy are a common choice.
Revo rod ends
Clod axle parts, inner and outer axles, axle tubes, and gear sets. Most of the other parts don't break.
Tekin rebel 2 esc
High torque servos
I am sure I will think of other stuff. But this is a good start. A lot of these items are common and can also be used by the nitro guys. So it isn't a bad idea to stock these items. There are more crawler specific items. But those may not sell as well. I can help with part number, just let me know what you need.

| I would add Losi truck springs. Many of us use them on our shocks.
A-5147 White A-5148 Yellow A-5150 Pink A-5152 Red A-5154 Orange
I would also try to get on the axial wheel deal. See if he can become an Axial reseller. There beadlock wheels are very nice. The 40 series are nice. But there new 2.2 should be even better. A set of beadlocks for under $50.
We need to try to make him Our official parts source. If he is going to stock this stuff. We need to do our best to support and buy from him. Maybe we can even setup some sort of advertising/sponsorship araingment. I will have to take a ride up there one of these days.

| one question i have is : where is this hobby shop located? it sounds great. do you think he could bring parts out to the comps? that way when i break an axel shaft i can buy it from him on the spot! that would be great! and the axial beadlocks i want to buy definately!! i was going to post up the trans part numbers but you beat me to it. the only thing i have to add is the #3195 steel top drive gear. (no x) #4687 (87-tooth)48-pitch spur gear you got everything else. ill think and see if i can come up with anything else also i dont know if this will help but i did for me here is 3 pics of the exploded view of the trans. | |

| The shop is in Clemmons. Just west of Winston Salem. He is open Mon, Tue, Thurs-Sun. With him open on weekends I dont know if he would be able to come to the comps. I am working with him some about helping out with the crawler related stuff, so I will bring up having a few parts priced to bring to the comps. so people can buy replacements. I agree with Brando if we do this then we need to try to make it worth his while and use him exclusively. I already do except for some things I get from ebay and a few things from Tower he cant get. I will talk to him about seeing if we could do a club discount for CRR. I guess we would have to make up membership cards or something though. He already has some Losi truck springs in stock from when I bought mine he ordered extras. Some of the stuff on the list he already has. I am fixing to update the list so everybody check it out. Thanks guys and keep the ideas coming. | |

| does he have a website? winston salem is far for me. i get most of my stuff from the web and if he had a website i could get parts from him without driving all the way to winston salem. also i would like to have access to * the blackfoot long axel stubs *a good selection of wheels and tires like the hpi spike and mesh 2.2 rims in a varity of colors would be nice and i think the tamiya wild dagger? rims are good because of the offset * the aluminum 12mm hexes (AE TC3 make them) * good tire selection moabs,m2k's,redrocks,geolanders and some wheel weights too * hop up items like tg-10 aluminum knuckels and yeah racing ones too. *the fat rock axel c's *bearings * 2/3a cells from elite and ib and lipo's *mamba 25 and mamba maxx esc's would be nice thanks and keep up the good work!! | |
