get togther this weekend?

hey guys does anybody want to get togher this weekend a crawl? i was thinking of going to either the bull hole of the park in mooresville. let me know what you think

I was thinking about if my parts come in friday taking the rig to the Bullhole to do a little pre comp testing. But I dont have any set plans yet.

hey guys there is a place on 40 east about 10 min from were i live it is biger than bull hole and alot more rocks it would be fun i would like too get together and go just time and day let us no.

where at off 40? I run that road alot

it is off of 138 go to stop sign go right then go to next stop sign there will be 2 school there one on one side of road the other is on the other side,go right and go until u see that the road ends at a gate .u will have to walk down the old road and the road ends go over the hill and go right along the river to the bottom of the duke dam, and you are there.but u canalso crawl on the top at the break water is u can see the spot from the top of the dam threw the fence.the exit is on the other side of statseville on the way to hickory.

hey that spot sounds cool. ita closer than the bull hole also. i dont care where i just want to get some practice in before the feb 11th comp

i might be able to make it out to the dam on sunday but ill be there a littlt later. 12 is a littlt early for me on the weekend

i will be going to the bull hole tomorrow afternoon. im going to try and bring some tennis balls and attempt to set up a trail. it would be nice to have some more rigs to run with anybody?

well im going to try to fing the dam place. ill be a lilttle late but its better than never hope i can find it

WOW!!! that place is awsome it is HUGE. its like 3-4 times bigger and bader than the bullhole. you leaders should look into this place for having comps. it is very versital. its good for 2.2's super and scaler's. here are some shots of today. (man was it cold)

hey guys look good this is the place called look out dam.it is at exit 138 of 40 me and raven hada blast.hope these pics help explain the sheare size of the spot there .it has alot of different terain to play on.all of you guys think this place is cool we should all talk at bull hole a figur out if we can hold a comp here.it is very good for ALL KINDS OF RIG SUPERS,2.2,AND EVEN SCALE RIGS.

Looks like a cool place. I just wonder if it is legal to be there. Or who you would need to contact for permission. A small group of a couple people is one thing. Our whole group is another story. A large group is normally the problem in holding a comp. Things like parking need to be addressed. Get some more information for me if you can. I will see what we as a club can do.

im going to try to get ahold of someone at duke power to get permition for CRR to hold a comp there. and as of parking there is a big parking lot at the top of the hill and a boat ramp so parking isnt a problem there.on the top of the hill there is 1 more place there just big rock msde for a break water for the shore at the top of the dam it would be a good place for comp also but it isnt big as the bottom

I like the sound of a boat ramp. That usually means there is public access. So being there shouldn't be an issue. I just wonder if some areas are off limits. See if you can get some more details. Also like the sounds of a parking lot. Good find, Hopefully we can put something together.

all of my freind i hav talk to said that thy have fished there years and no one has said anything to them but i am still going to get ahold of some one and get permition for us to compete there with out any problems i hope because this place is the best i have ever been.the directions are on this forum just go up on the 1st page and the directions are on there for any one ho whats to go there if any of you guys wont to go there just e-mail me and ill meet any one there to crawl.
