| I'd like to refer all ???'s and entries to you so that you can assign them in the correct class, and provide them the help they need. also, 2.4Ghz radios are a MUST. No Limit will be running a 300-400 entry event in close proximity to the crawlers, lots of prizes and pride on the line. Can't have a radio conflict causing problems. Thanks guys for taking control of this. I know the event is a ways off, but in order to pull off a spectacular event, we need to start the process now. FWD me a POC and email or link to post on the NL site. THIS EVENT IS GOING TO ROCK!! |

| I am guessing 2.2 comp and 1.9 scale would be 2 good classes Tony. I am sure others will bring a super or 2 to put on display. But I am guessing the course will be to small for supers. So just pick 2 classes and run with it. If you try to run to many classes it will turn into a mess.
I will round up some web banners and logos shortly. I will send them to your email Tony.

| John Schultz from HPI and Jason Carter who writes for RC Driver will probably be bringing their rigs to crawl with. It is a 3 day event, do you want to do crawling all 3 days? Up to you. PTI plans to sponsor, and they will be sending some demo trucks for the spectators to try. I'm so psyched! |

| Look Johns rig is tricked out big time he can lock and unlock his diffs from his radio. he has front and rear brakes to lock up the tires and a manual transmission. It is a sick rig. If you want a water obstacle to the side that can be done. Just give a way around it so people who think water and electricity mixing is a bad thing can go around. john | |

| Maybe the 1.9 will be running, if not I'll bring Dee's as a crawler. Anybody who needs directions, Holler, I know where it's at, Maybe I can even get up a enclosed trailer and Gen set from work. I'm sure if I ask nicely and put their logos on the trailer I can get it.
What's this about 2.4 gh radios? I thought that TQ3's were 2.4?

What's this about 2.4 gh radios? I thought that TQ3's were 2.4? That would be great. Not sure if it is needed yet. I'm working on the 2.4gh thing

Timmy, the 2.4ghz radios refer to the freqency they work on. Same theory as a cordless phone. The radion is bound with the receiver. So no crystals or channels. And no chance at a frequency conflict. The spektrum DX3 like Scott and myself use is 2.4ghz. Also Rene's Spektrum DX6 is a 2.4ghz radio.

| Ok, quick update- you should see the CRR logo in the sponsor section, and CRR banner on the news page this weekend. here is the deal with the 2.4 radios. We will be running the biggest RC monster truck event ever imagined at the world finals. It takes a lot of time to run 300+ trucks through the event. if you run 2.4 radios, then you can do crawling all day, any time. I CAN NOT guarantee that we will have time to run no synth radios at the event. The crawling thing will be AWESOME and offer a rare opportunity for the monster truckers and the crawlers to mingle. I hate to have to make the 2.4 mandatory call, but I do. If time allows, then its a free for all, but with magazine coverage, a dozen sponsor reps on site, and $15,000 in prizes on the line, i can not take the chance that a radio conflict occurs. |

| Being a past race director I can understand totally. The first guy who makes a driving mistake while racing will blame it on a radio conflict. I have heard the "someones on my channel" scream more than a few times. Since we are not racing we will be the first ones to be blamed. If we all have a 2.4ghz radio no fingers can get pointed at us.
Since only a few of us have spektrum radios it is tough. It means many of our members are going to have to get one. But given the size of event and number of people, I can totally understand.

| I have bought a few DX3 radios in the past few days. I only need three for me and the two new guys that come with me. I will be sure to buy what I can find and post them up here as I get them for exactly what I have in them. I am not making any promises as to how many more I will have but I have found and bought three this week. Unfortunately, all three of these are spoken for one being for myselfand the other two for the new guys (Matt & Donnie). I have a few leads on a couple more that I should be able to get. | |
