| By dual, do you mean internal and externally sprung?
I have my side plate design figured out. I just need to get some flat bar tomorrow and find the time to make the changes.

| I have run out of time for this 2.2. Tomorrow I am mounting the body and running as is. I need to run an excavater all weekend and then I have to travel. Then next weekend I need to build a couple Supers. Here is what I have. Its; - 4 linked - 3.5" shocks all arround (only external springs) - two Ax 10 trannies - two BM6 motor (probably under powerred) | |

| I have no idea how it will do on the rocks. It is raining now and I have to work all day.
If it is dry by Monday, I will go for a test run somewhere.

| Hey
Its cramped because I run too much stuff.
It has the two escs strapped to the cross bars by the upper shock mounts, the BEC is on the rear 4 link plate, the Rx is on a metal plate in the middle and the Servo/batt are on a custom plate up front (side by side).
I think that keeping the AX10 stock might be a better choice for most people. i am not sure if mine is better, I guess we will know Jan 12th.

| I got a body mounted on the chassis today. Then I tried to flip the truck onto its wheels after I laid it on its lid. No chance on flat ground. I may not have enough power in these little motors to get the needed wheel speed.
I guess that I can have to plan on not rolling over this year.

| I went out to the Bull Hole for a pack today.
I think my AX10 is ok now. I am down on wheel speed but I think I can still make most of the climbs that the TLT made.
The stairs had water on them, so I did not try them. Senile-hiker had his AX10 out there too and did well.
I need to modify my battery tray a little to get the battery away from the tire when fully turning, the front axles get crowded with the servo and battery side by side, other then that its good enough.

| I could not find the flat bar I wanted to modify the Super with, so I worked on the battery plate of the 2.2 instead. Here it is; | |

| Learned a bit about the truck today, it is still not the way I want it.
I hope they come out with CVDs very soon and I need to build different chassis side plates.
And when I get CVDs then I can run my other beadlocks again, since I was not thrilled with the ones I ran today.

| hey
Its a feel thing, the truck did everything ok. But it was not as predictable as I wanted.
Also, it still had the tendency to ball-up. Kind off like torque-twist but it does it both ways. Maybe what I think is there is not there but this new chassis should have fixed it.
This is the same issue I had with the yellow Tuber and then I added the spacer on the battery tray and that fixed it, I am sure you remember.
