| hey all;
I think I found a new viable place to have a comp.
it is called Bone's Cave State Park (its near Churchland NC)
Here is a video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EV7RKjsVi-U
The terrain looks god starting at 3 min.
I have not actually gone there but i will next weekend if I have time. There are 110 acres of state park, I am sure we can find a place (or 10) to build 6 courses.

| a long time ago. before i was into crawling. From what i remember, it may not be the best place for a comp. would make a nice free crawl. i'll have to get backout there and take anothr look. | |

| hey all;
Doug and I took a ride out to the park yesterday. There is way too much walking to get to the rocks, this place will not work.
On 29 heading North, just past the Yadkin River Bridge (on the left) is an awsome bunch of rocks. But they are at the side of the road, not in a park. So they will not work either.
I am going to scope out one place every weekend I have time. I am sure there are tons of places that willwork great, we just have not found them, yet.

| hey there
So far we have only had events in NC but we many of us have gone to an event in Augusta.
Some of us have gone to Atlanta, GA , Rock City, AL and Moab, Utah. to crawl.
If you have a good location near you, let us know, throw up some pics and we can have a gtg and a comp there.

Where at in SC are you? Rene, The spot there on 29 I have aready checked into it and it's a no go. Other than the rock at the road there is not any realy good spots even on top of the hill. I also could not find out who owned the land.

| widows falls at stone mountain. The whole park is kinda like uwharrie...pull the car over and crawl. widows falls would be my preference though, specially now that 1) its cold 2) were in a drought. | |

| I think I've mentioned it befor, the area up behind the Hutchens house is also very nice.
There is also a golf course about 3 miles out of the back entrance of the park. I think it Stone Mountain Gold Course(it's on Green Street Mountain), but anyways theres an area up behind the 8th hole which is absolutely awsome. I already spoke with the owner, I just need to take my truck back to show how quite they are and that it wouldn't be a distraction for golfers.
