Free Crawl August 10th

We have a free crawl schedualed for this comming Sunday, August 10th. There was never a site picked for the crawl. I want to suggest a free crawl or mini comp(no points) at Liberty park in Mooresville, NC. I belive Liberty Park is a place the club has crawled at befor right off Hwy 3 in Mooresville. I been by this location but never crawled there. I know its not a great local but looks decsent. Is any one intrested?

That place is really really nice for Scale truck (Brandon, charge up the Land Cruiser). I am sure that we can find some lines outthere for 2.2s.

Plus its nice and close to town. We could put some cash together and get a couple pizzas for lunch. A guy that I am working with in Columbia SC is from Mooresville and he says that 'Pie in the Sky Pizza' is asome and they are very close to this site.

I can likely be there for the fun comp.

I will be gone all day Saturday. Not sure if my wife will go for 2 days in a row. I will see what I can do. I have tested trucks a few times in Mooresville. There is a few lines, but it is pretty limited. Would be fun for scale trucks in the creek bed. Also hill climbs off to the side. Could even bring the Slash out for a bash.

I can bring a Slash. Maybe we can set up three cones somewhere and have a tri-oval race.

Is Pie in the sky still open? It was a regular eat when I raced slots at Maders. It is very good.

We'll have several 2.2's. My whole clan is coming. Josh, Chris, Dustin, Ricky, and Pops. I figured we run maybe two courses. Some good practice for everyone. Hopefully we can find a line or two. I'll bring my scale truck also.

If I show it will be for a very short time. I realized that I have not had wheels on my Super since Moab last year. And I really need to build something for Nats. The bad news is I am out of town every week between now and Nats. So I really have to slap something together so I can play with a Stick radio and I want to try some new stuff on my Super, which requires a complete rebuild.

Not sure whos showing tomorrow, I know my clan is going. Josh, Chris, Pops, and Dustin. I think Scott and Scotty are going also. Hope more can make it. We be there at 9am. Planning at least two 2.2 courses and lots of fun. Again we will be at Liberty park in Mooresville, NC.
