We will plan to do the comp at High Rock Lake. If the water threatens to be high we will go to the Bullhole instead.

There will be no entry fee for this event. No prizes and bring your own lunch. No membership is required.

This will be comp 1 of the second series. We are resetting points so that new member can join theseries.

Please PM me or post in this thread if you are planning on making it, and what classes, we will draw a random running order before the event. Everyone who shows up without pre enterring get to go first.

I'll post directions tomorrow. I was there last weeked and there is not a good place avaiable thats just rocks. Theres a lot of rocks, but a bunch of undergrowth and lots of water. There is a good place at the base of the mountain, but you have to have a climbing permit to access that area. Maybe we need to rethink the comp local? I'm up for suggestions.

I know my bunch will be there, who else will be attending this comp?

We can just move it to HRL.

And if the water is expected to be high, we go to the Bullhole.

Hey guys I will be there but I have a question. I am currently building a 2.2 comp rig and it will have the VF Dig setup however I have never had nor used dig before so if I disconnect my dig will I be able to compete in the sport class? I guess what I am saying is I have no idea how a dig system even works and I would rather not learn during a comp. Please let me know so I can sign up accordingly.

If you havge your dig locked in the closed position we will let you go into the sport class.

CJ, Dustin, and Ricky will be there also for sport.

OK that will work Rene. Thanks for the response. I will have two new guys with me as well that will be entering the sport class.

The long term forcast calls for 40% POP. If that get worse, we can move the comp to the following weekend.

Hey all;

It looks like the weather will be ok for the day time with bad rain moving in later in the day.

We should focus on running this one quickly, just like the event at the playground.

As it stands now this event is a go. I will be there early to try to set up some courses.

9 am tech check, 10 am start running courses.

All 3 classes run the first two courses (Sport, 2.2 Comp and Super) and all will have a unique final course.

Sport scores are reset going into final course, the other two classes keep there score.

I may be out guys. I switched radios and my rig hasn't worked since? I have tried everything I know which honestly isn't too much but......unless I can find some outside help to solve this problem my cralwer is a paper weight.

Switch back to the 1st radio!

Hey Rene. It is a DX3.0 but I think I got it. I didn't have much time this morning before I had to leave but I will know more tonight. I had to re-calibrate the ESC when I changed the Rx. Now I just need to do some adjusting on the Tx. and I should be good to go.

I am a little behind, I will have to start a my crawler tonight. I guess I have all night. I think the parts are all here except for wheels.

well guys, I won't be coming out to this one. But I did get a large order of parts in this afternoon. So maybe by the next one I will be ready. Have fun everyone.

i just got every thing fixed now im charging bats.

I have attached the axles to a chassis. Now I just need to do the whole suspension, wheels, electronics thing. I should have something built in the next couple hours (before tomorrow at 7 am anyways)

Sorry to hear that you can not make it, Brandon. If you want to run the sport class I can hook you up with a ride for tomorrow.

I had a good time today, even though the truck wanted to fall apart on me. Congrats to Pops for the win in the Sport Class and to Rene for the Comp Class. Alot of guys really did a great job of driving today. I hope everyone else had a good time as well.
