Another new guy

Hey folks...

Just checking in and saying hello... Been no stranger to RC world as I have been in it since 1988. I bought my first RC10 buggy...

Got into Touring cars back in 97/98 and started racing pan cars as well. Took a break then bought a Nitro Touring car, stumbled onto a free Traxxis Nitro Sport, which landed me here in the RC Crawler world.

I have been into Rock Crawling in the 1:1 flavor for some time, and own a Jeep Wrnagler.

Hope to meet up with some of you guys soon for some crawling!!

yeah...i posted another thread wondering why were having it before it opens! i dont think any of our crawling spots are on the trail system. last two places we crawled (that i attended) were a short walk off one of the main roads. past the trailhead for wolf den.

i dont know if the fellas have found another crawling spot or not.

yeah... typically that area at wolfden(just a few tenths of a mile) is the cut off for 576. We use to walk all the way to the dam from there just to go jumping off the wall. but that was over 10 years ago.

There are some great areas near the dam for RC crawling for sure, and possibly some great areas back at the Arrowhead Campground, but that may be closed as well... it seems more and more of the park closes for winter now.
