| Just thought I'd say hello and introduce myself. I hate it when someones first post is in the classifieds. I'm a Machine Designer up here in Hickory and looking to get into RC Crawling with my brother. My brother and I have been into full size 4x4 for awhile now but with small kids that changed the time and finances. I used to be serious into oval pan rc car racing back in the day. Figure this is a perfect way to keep up our addiction without being too expensive... We are hoping to build a small rock course since my brother has a big backyard in Lincolnton. It would be a place to crawl over here on this side of the state. Looking forward to getting my hands on my first crawler (hopefully an Axial) and getting to a competition. Great to have a local club! My Old Jeep | |

| It's great that you found us. Many of us where or still are RC racers. I myself am a retired carpet oval racer. But this has a much slower relaxing pace. And the trucks are a blast to build. Welcome to the group. | |

| Thanks for the welcome guys, good to see the board is active. I will give you a call Jason, would love to try that Axial. Your right about expensive hobbies, but I'm a die hard Jeep guy so dropping $2000 on lift, disconnects, tires and wheels makes the wife unhappy. Hopefully I can stay relatively cheap, altho everytime I look on here and RCC I see something else I will need to order...haha. Here is my new rig that will have to stay like this until the warranty is up. | |
