my new scale rig

I think i will use this body.
shortbed,drop bed,full interior,and lots of scale items.

I never had the stomach to drive my 3 speeds, so I sold them. Hopefully you will not wimp out like I did and will actually use it.

I cant wait to see this one in person. I have wanted a 3 speed for a long time. Maybe I will at least get to drive one someday.

look what i got today.







boy this thing is clean.

got the tranny and drive shafts back in it.





it shifts so smoothly too.

Now that is a clean rig! How soon till you get it dirty? J/k...
It is nice though. Are you gonna run the black shortbed on it?

nah the shortbed wont fit. tha long bed stock clod body is actually about 1/2-3/4" too short for it. i would love to have a bruiser body for it.

hahahahhaha. traded one and some tlt axles for it.

this thing has no flex. going to add juggy leafs for lift and maybe some flex then.

welll i got the leafs on it and broke a steering knuckle.POS thing.

well hilux is long gone. went back to one of my chassis.

made some ugly rock sliders for it.






gotta have a servo mount.

I am looking at a set of 1.9s just in case we dont have 5 for 2.2 scale class. I am trying to get out of the church function so I can make it out.


I like the progress on the truck. Have you decided on a trans yet? I need to get my truck together so we can run them so I can get some practice. I think your idea for a night run is a good idea. I gotta find my extra led lights, maybe I will rob my Nylint for the lights I used on it.

wow no shat. i thought mine sucked.

looks good though Rene.finishing up my ladder rack now for it. added a couple more bars to it to help with mounting it in the bed.
