| hey Tony'
If you already have courses setup, does that not put the people who have not seen them at a huge disadvantage??
I know that I can set up a course in my back yard that I would have an advantage on???
This entire topic is a little bit of a problem, I really want nothing to do with the course layout. Because if I win on a course I helped design, then the BS starts.
The best idea would be that a person who only compets in 2.2 designs the super course and a person who only competes in Super does the 2.2 classes. I am not sure if we have anyone to meet the second conditions in our club.
I guess I do not have a good sollution. I just want everyone to have fun and for Sruff to break something on the first gate of the first course (preferably a front axle).

| Wow, did this thread get off topic or what. Sorry Froger but I am going to jump on the thread hi-jack band wagon.
We do have course layout people. Randy and myself have discussed our courses. I think we have learned some of the do's and do not's. I think we are honing in on what we need for our club. This doesn't mean we are not open to input.
I don't like people getting the home field advantage. For this reason if you frequent a crawl spot I don't want you involved with course layout. Not for the reaon of setting up a course that you would have an advantage on. But more to eliminate any hard feeling that may come up. If I crawl a spot 100 times it is not fair for me to setup course on lines that I have experience on.
I tried to keep this in mind at the Bullhole. We tried to setup courses on lines we had not run before. I think this is the fair way to do it. As to not give anyone an unfair advantage.
We are going to try to make the 2.2 courses slightly easier this time around. I want to eliminate many of the time outs and point outs. At least on the first two courses. The final will be slightly harder. This is one of our goals. We are also going to pay closer attention to gate width. I want to be more consistant with that.
Like I said from the beginning. We are learning as we go. The first two comps taught us some things. As long as we keep learning and repairing our mistakes we will be fine.
