ALU axle cases for very little $.

The are not as nice as the JPS (retail $135) ones (no adjustable motor mount, and no front and back case). But they cost 1/3rd of the better cases.

I hope that if I run an aloy case there is less flex which will cause fewer gear issues (yes I have issues, Nick and Doug heard them last weekend).

I hope they are substancial enough and the aloy is descent.

Does anyone know about cryo treating ALU, I know that for steel you want a high carbon content to form Martensite (generated when quenching Ausinite). But ALU has no carbon content.

And the additional benefit, THEY ARE PRETTY. LOL

cryo is the stuff i raced go carts and we cryoed every thing and it was way stronger than non cryoed we did rods , blocks , pistons , frames every thing we could get and it worked way better than non cryo

for $35 a case there worth checking out!

they look almost like chromed stock cases...
